No.  But I already mentioned that I don't like to use cross dressing as a humiliation tactic.  I DO use other things like collars, leashes and half dressed in public... or making my boy sit on the floor instead of the furniture... or verbal abuse where others can 'over hear' us.  That sort of thing.

However, if someone else WAS into using crossdressing as a humiliation tactic, what's the point of doing it where no one can see it?

PeonForHer -> RE: crossdressing (11/14/2008 2:43:29 PM)

I find the mix of anxiety and arousal absolutely fascinating, from both intellectual and practical perspectives.

I do too.  It's funny, but the threat of certain sorts of "punishment" are both a turn-on and andi something I'd be anxious about and would genuinely wish to avoid.

At bottom, I think the problem is simply this: that it's assumed that someone can only have one feeling at a time.  Most especially, it's assumed that certain sorts of feelings are mutually exclusive.  One cannot feel scared and excited at the same time, for instance.  Oh really?  Most fairground rides are designed on the principle that the opposite's true.

Freud said that when people dreamed, all the feelings in the psyche got let loose, whether or not they contradicted one another.  "Contradiction", anyway, has no meaning to the unconscious world.

You want to tap into the big unconscious drives and all the powerful erotic stuff they can produce: just accept first that the unconscious looks like a mass of contradictions to the conscious mind  - and you're already well on your way to nirvana.

Well, that's my little hypothesis, anyway. [;)]

Of course P, you realize that your statement makes you the -ideal- candidate for a dress.  [;)]

**Lord, I apologize for selling my poor subbie mate down the river..really I do...**

PeonForHer -> RE: crossdressing (11/14/2008 3:13:40 PM)

I don't know, Otters.  An astute domme might observe that I've picked up a few tricks recently.  She might then think that I'm actually into cross-dressing but am being really crafty by pretending not to be.  Or she might think I'm trying a double-bluff.  Or she may not think about it at all but watch my face and realise in a nanosecond what really pisses me off as a form of punishment!

I'm probably a great deal more adept at this sort of thing in theory than I would be in practice, is my conclusion . . .

LadyConstanze -> RE: crossdressing (11/14/2008 3:20:00 PM)

I'm actually not such a fan of crossdressing (though I do adore some CDs especially if they have great legs) but I somehow think now about something very pink and frilly, with petticoats and absolutely ridiculous.... Tehehehe, on my way to B and checking which pub has vicars and tarts night ;)

I'm sorry, but I don't quite understand, Lady C.  To me, you already look like a woman.  Wearing something pink and frilly would only make you look like you've got questionable dress sense.

I would dress as a vicar when I'm heading your way (after all I like black) guess who'd be the (frilly pink) tart?

PeonForHer -> RE: crossdressing (11/14/2008 3:46:31 PM)

Well, I'm already a tart, as you put it recently (a comment for which I'm going to roast you later and at some point when you least expect it), so I don't suppose wearing a pink frilly number's going to make much difference to my current standing in the community. . .   Hell, I'll probably get approached by Tory party members and asked if I want to be an MP.

But at least we established that you are not from Essex, but that won't get you out of the white stilettos...

Oh my, is it the right time to mention that I think Maggie wasn't all bad and that I dislike Teflon Tony and "Never a frown with Golden Brown"... And yes, I actually consider myself a liberal

It's absolutely the right time to mention that, Lady C.  It's such a perverted opinion it's giving me major wood as I write.

Think about it, he possibly has indecent thought about her in lingerie, stripping for him, performing a lap dance....

(Hope he has an open fireplace, because my guess is that all wood is gone by now)

Politesub53 -> RE: crossdressing (11/14/2008 5:53:32 PM)

Maggie in lingerie ?.......... Hold that thought  [8D]

Back to the OP. Even for people that enjoy crossdressing, unless they are "out" about it, the humiliation aspect is still there.  For those who don`t enjoy it, even the threat is enough to make one cringe. ( In a nice way of course )

AlexandraLynch -> RE: crossdressing (11/15/2008 6:53:39 PM)

I personally as a woman don't get off on crossdressing a sub. Not the way I get off on, say, knifeplay or fireplay or controlling stuff. But since I am so into control, if I know that putting the sub in panties evokes in them the feelings that I wish to evoke, then I am damn straight going to own him-sized panties to use at the proper psychological moments. Clothing is a tool, but only one tool among many.

iwearpanties -> RE: crossdressing (11/16/2008 4:15:07 AM)

Ms Alexandra

as a male sub here that dose and had worn panties and other fmela items at times  as you stated if it evokes . I 'll  say ingnites the sub thats what many i feel wnat is to have you excited that he/she is doing what humiliates / turns them on ?   i see it as a way of takening the macho male ego and kncoking it donw a step or two and in  minds of subs i belive that what they are seeking is the mental  craveing of  this type of play hes lesser man say in fornt of you but in public hes the macho ego male how undr his clothes is panties  or bra remind him hes controled

malloves69 -> RE: crossdressing (11/16/2008 5:15:40 AM)

as much as i love being fucked in the ass by my mistress and being fisted by her i have little or no interest in cross dressing [:)] wearing pantys might feel good from time to time but a full dressup i think i will pass on that unless she was ever in the mood to dress me up for a good laugh [:)] most men getting dressed up i think look down right scary looking but hey whatever floats your boat i guess ...just nothing i have much interest in ...have fun mal [:)] women look much better in their clothes and i will leave it like that [:)] and they look even better once the clothes hit the floor [:)]

steffie -> RE: crossdressing (11/16/2008 9:45:37 PM)

I am trans and have received a variety of reactions from Dominant women over the years.  It seems to be a pretty personal thing.  A year ago, i wrote to a woman here who had advertised on her profile she was looking for a male to feminize.  She wrote back to me and said, "You're already done.  I want someone masculine that i can turn into someone like you."  I had to laugh.

No one would ever have to 'force' me to dress in women's clothes.  Nor does wearing anything feminine make me feel humiliated in the slightest.  They're just clothes.

My Mistress was seeking someone like me.  Someone that she could go out in public with - and not feel embarrassed.  We go everywhere.  Last weekend we went out to dinner and a movie.  We've gone to straight bars, restaurants, shopping... she wants to go on a cruise together.

Truthfully, i live in an alternative lifestyle town and have spent most of the last 15 years in the GLBT community. They're just easier to live with, they're just a lot more accepting of people like myself.  I can be me, and not feel like I have to pretend to be something i am not.

Still, it's actually a lot of fun for me to go to all sorts of straight places and events with Her.  And, i think she gets a kick out of knowing that she is the only one in the restaurant or the store that knows that technically, i'm still a male.

AlexandraLynch -> RE: crossdressing (11/16/2008 11:02:46 PM)

Well, you see, if I assume that wearing clothing that fits them but is not gender appropriate is humiliating, since they are male and I am female, it would therefore follow that there is something inherently humiliating about wearing female clothing.

Sorry. I don't play that kind of self-hating game.

I'm into control. If I know my sub is into wearing panties under his clothes, and it's really not my thing, then it becomes a privilege I can grant him if he does his work very well. As it happens, my two guys are both into lingerie, and I'm not so much. (Although at my size a well-fitted and fitting bra is a joy beyond words. But that's different.) So every now and again they have a fun time indulging that and each other in that, and I enjoy the time with a new novel and a hot bath, or such.

It's no different to me in some ways than if they were both massive football fans.

Ronnie4444 -> RE: crossdressing (11/17/2008 6:27:52 AM)

I don’t think that I would enjoy cross dressing. That is to be fully dress as a woman. But I would love to wear panties. Either part time or all of the time. But my Wife wont allow me to. I have asked her several time for permission, but her answer is always no. She says it doesn’t turn her on to see me dressed like that. However sometimes my Wife will allow me to masturbate with her panties. I really enjoy it and I believe she does too.
