I'm so relieved that she will not be anywhere near the White House - at least for now , as I've already heard talk about her running for President in four years ( shudder) . So - I'm thinking - what would she be good at now that she won't be moving to Washington ? Maybe a ditzy daytime talk show hostess ? Or in between shooting wolves from planes , she needs to keep a closer watch on her kids - especially once they reach puberty ... Are there any Dom/mes that hunger to have a go at her ? Or perhaps she'd be a good Domme herself - except if she winked at me , I might lose my lunch . Whadya think - what role do you see her in , or how might you like to be involved with her ? [:D]

As far as I'm concerned Alaska can keep her,they for some reason elected this train wreck to her current office....they are IMO stuck with her.Any foolish speculation of her viability as a candidate in 2012 ,completely ignores/discounts the drag she wound up causing the ticket this year....fundies are a fringe extreme right wing and as such she is not now and never will be viable for national office.....good riddance

Well there is always the Hilary route except she wouldn't have to move to a state she never lived in before to get elected. LOL She could resign from the governorship and run for Alaska US Senate race when they boot Stevens. She has 2 years left in her first of two possible terms as Governor of Alaska. Certainly she has enough clout to run in her own right next election when she'll have 6 years as Governor to tout as experience, as much as Clinton had for his first run at the top slot.

Did Billary have a failed run for president before winning that I don't remember? He served as Governor of Arkansas for 12 years before becoming president. His first term was 78 to 80. He was reelected 2 years later and served for ten more years. Palin would only have 1/2 as much experience.

I don't want her down here in the lower 48. She can serve out her term as Alaska and take a hike to visit the grizzlies, maybe camp in a tent and become their friend. Unarmed of course. Do a documentary about it.

Irish, This was Sen. Clinton's first run for the presidency---a run backed by the Dem establishment, until Sen. Obama was clearly winning. Before that, she served as NY Senator---and did a great job, so we re-elected her in a landslide. Hope that helps.

She cannot possibly run again in four years. That is not going to be enough time for her to read all the newspapers or read abut international politics or any of the current issues or any supreme court cases.

in a world where we no longer choose the best man (or woman) for the job, is she really that bad? You prefer to have a socialist in power over a gun-toting madwoman who might be president if and only if the old guy dies? I admit she's not my first choice for president (or in top 100) but I still rank her higher then Obama/Biden. We choose least of two evils, not best suited. I kinda do like Palin. I think she's misunderstood.
