In your terms...I would have to say equal. I feel we both bring different things to the relationship that are positive or negative, but I don't see that as superior or inferior. The power dynamic is the only area in which this idea can be measured I suppose.

Female Superiority is a whole other dynamic. I have attempted to explore it with submissives who subscribe to this thought process, but I just can never get there. It tends to make me laugh to be called Goddess. And to take that farther to say all females are inherently superior than all males just seems silly. I mean honestly...really? People think that...really?

We respect  one another equally,  and we respect  one another's need to be what he/she feels  the need  to be.  Superiority/inferiority is an understanding, a creation,  and  part  of the paradigm which allows for fulfillment.

Equal.  I can even support the theory that the sub is the one with the real power.  He/She has the power to say "No."
Everyone has the power to say no, and as such we don't go around telling everyone what to do and how to live their lives.   As a human being, I value everyone equally.
Were I to be in a relationship with a sub or slave (and I have had this), his power or authority is the amount I permit him to have.  So we would not be equals within the relationship.   I might love and adore him for complimenting my dominant side and being good to/for me, but we'd not be equal until/unless I said "on this subject, you are free to feel equal and give me your input to the best of your knowledge."

Beautifully said, thanks.   M

Yes, for switches, tops and bottoms, I would imagine everyone is always considered equal.

Yes.  When I need information about a subject he knows better than myself; as a matter of fact, I don't do speech restrictions beyond limiting sarcasm, and always approaching respectfully/tactfully.

in real life do you treat vanilla people as equals or do you expect the same level of respect you get from your servants.

In real life, I treat everyone with the courtesy I expect in return, but once in a while, do run into men who go a little further to be pleasing or kind, which makes my soul smile.   This alternative lifestyle for me is about having discovered what type of man I believe I'm capable of long term connection with.   Though it also limits my choices, it makes the choices I make more appropriate and fun.   M

My sentiment exactly.  Only you said it a lot better, curse you!  [;)]

whatever makes you happy is what is right in each particular case. the main thing is to enjoy life and have fun.  life is too short for anything else, too short and too fragile

Rule -> RE: Do you see your sub/slave as inferior superior or equal to you (11/7/2008 4:38:57 AM)

I have reason to assume that because of my unique ability I am superior to all other human beings. However, I am very much aware that many people excell in areas where I am at the bottom of the rungs. Specialists in whatever often are very much handicapped in whatever else.

I do think that submissives, slaves, dom(me)s and the various other kinds of human beings ought to be respected for what they are and according to their merits and abilities and talents.

What, no detail on this unique ability?    M

Rule -> RE: Do you see your sub/slave as inferior superior or equal to you (11/7/2008 5:55:44 AM)

Only those who are able to discern my unique ability are qualified to know. Thus far in three years time on CM only two natural slave girls have been able to discern my unique ability and sent me a mail about it. (There may be more, but if so they did not explicitly tell me that they did.)

FullfigRIMaam -> RE: Do you see your sub/slave as inferior superior or equal to you (11/7/2008 5:58:43 AM)

Oh my...
*Off to start a thread to try and discern rule's unique ability, or get the two slaves to reveal it*   [8D]  M

Within our dynamic, I am Fox's superior as in a position, not a quality of person, and we are not equals -- again positions not qualities or statements of our human value.

We have different skills and talents and are different people. If you want to call those differences superior or inferior, go ahead but we don't. We usually just say "better" or "worse" LOL.

You seem to have a good head on Your shoulders. i could trust you with my life Ms Tammy Jo i would feel comfortable in bottoming. i admire the fact that Put safety up there as of paramount importance. a lot of Dommes particularly those starting off are lukewarm about this. alas it is impracticable at this point and i am only seeking friends not Dommes at this point

i dont know what i m going to miss Miss. i just think i m not ready for serious relationship and anyway isnt life is supposed to be about fun, to coin a phrase i dont want to be chained down to any one person, i think that would be kind of scary,  and by the same token i dont think i will ever make a mistake by not getting too involved, it s when i start getting in deep, well then i run into all sorts of road blocks and they neither help me nor the other person, it s like people are saying on these boards , its better to get to know people first before diving in, well that s just my two cents
kevin

You should find someone to talk to because you might have an issue or two you need to work out there lobodomslavery.
TammyJo wasn't flirting with you and SirsHolly wasn't telling you that you are going to miss this.    M
