I have some egg nog premixed with liquor that is in the liquor container still, unopened. I bought it in March or so, cuz I was surprised to see egg nog in March. Is it still safe to drink?

I personally wouldn't trust it, but then again, being egg nog, i wouldn't have bought it in the first place. But with it having milk (I think) and eggs (I presume), I would guess it is probably not all that safe to drink, even with the alcohol in it... Best guess... take a swallow...

Alcohol will kill anything. If it is more than ten per cent alcohol I suspect it will be save. Anyway, even if anything grows in it - like a fungus - it usually still will be safe. There are plenty of fungus cheeses that are sold as delicacies. How does it taste? If it tastes awful, it is rotten.

i was going to come in and drop the question..."what does a collar mean to you..."...but now i see its about eggnog. If anywhere on the label it said to refridgerate after opening...then i think its ok if the seal has not been broken. What section did you buy it in...was it cold or on the shelf when you got it. i am torn between the "drink it yourself to see if its poisonous" and the "give it to an enemy" theories...but i agree with Axey...please post the results on Youtube.[:D][;)][:D]
