You're quite correct: along with the control a Dom exercises comes responsibility. To me, first and foremost, is the responsibility to know what one is doing. Like in flogging. Do you know how to flog someone; do you know the flogging dos and don'ts? If you're serious about this woman, the best I can recommend is to become knowledgeable in the arts of BDSM and D/s. Too often today people seem to feel that all it takes to be a Dom is an attitude and some toys. While that maybe true online, in real life it's far from so. I recently had the opportunity to observe a "Dom" ( 8 years experience in the lifestyle, he informed me) who had no idea how to whip or flog someone. Find an experienced Dom and have them teach you, at least teach you the basics. You'll be ahead of the game if you do that.
