I was at a fairly large outdoor event last weekend, and was a bit bemused to sneak off to the "facilities" and discover, in addition to the Wall O Port-O-Sans, there was actually a portable urinal trough. This came as something of a surprise. I've seen troughs from time to time, but usually in seedier places, where they seem to be a throwback to the days when individual plumbing fixtures were more expensive, or perhaps, a leftover from the building's former incarnation as a gay bar. I just couldn't imagine somebody saying "I need to rent some toilet facilities, and a group urinal is just the thing!" So what's the consensus? Is it a bit too "cruise-y" for you, or do you just man up and whip it out?

They have those at our dilapidated Mellon Arena here in Pittsburgh. Believe me, after two or three 7 dollar beers, you'll have to go at some point, but at least you'll have liquid courage!

When I was 18 I went to a Billy Idol concert (I think I'm still recovering). I had to use the bathroom badly and the line for the women's room wrapped around the building twice (yes, I'm exaggerating). So I peeked into the men's room - not a soul there. They had stalls and they had a trough (I used a stall, in case anyone is wondering). When I emerged from the stall there were four guys at the trough, all looking at me in surprise. Oops. I grinned sheepishly and made a quick exit. From then on I figured troughs were just another way you men do it. It always struck me as a bit uncivilized, but then...well, so do most men. [;)]

Well, as one who has often used the men's room when desperate.....Nueva.....been there, done that, simply said "hey guys" and sailed on out......they blushed more than I did! Hey, parts is parts.....seen one, you've seen 'em all!

There were street urinals in France until recently. In the 1990s they were replaced with the more private vespasienne. Maybe the planners of your outdoor event were French and felt when a man’s gotta’ go, he’s gotta’ go. Although my parents raised me in a home that closed the bathroom door, currently I would drain the dragon anywhere in front of anyone without uneasy feelings. In my house, my partners would leave the bathroom door open once they became accustom to the open minded ‘no privacy’ policies and became shameless about their own bodies and functions. In a poly situation, the bathroom can get busy with 3 or 4 girls living with you. I would sometimes find a slave sitting on the toilet and have her spread her legs so I could pee too. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ What is easy for 2 guys, hard for a guy and a girl and nearly impossible for 2 women? …. To pee in the same pot.

To pee in the same pot. i immediately went to task trying to figure out a way for 2 women to pee in the same pot. i remembered something that was mentioned in a thread that lets a girl pee standing up....yep that would work! so now it is just hard instead of nearly impossible.

My uni used to be all men so there was one stall for the women and multiple stalls for the men as well as urinals in the men's room. I'm no fool. I would use the men's room. I didn't go in if there were guys in there, and if someone came in while I was peeing, I'd say "there's a woman in here." So one day, this happened and I hear a voice say back to me, "Pamela, is that you?" It was my professor. "Do you mind if I....?" I said "sure go ahead." But I waited until he finished and had left before I left. Didn't need to see his willie right before class.
