i dont bruise easily anymore at all. i wondered if i had played too much so i took a "month" off which lasted 3 weeks...and nothing changed except my tolerance levels...You can try to hit her harder but odds are she just may not bruise. Can she handle harder strikes? Because that may not help. The only thing that marks me longer than over night are the singletail bites that break the skin. Canes bring up pretty welts that last....hmmmm...where is M's phonenumber again??

How easily someone bruises is genetic.  Bruising is actually internal bleeding.  While it might give you more pleasure to see the colors of this you may be taking her past her point of endurance.

As another respondent said, bruising is internal (subcutaneous) bleeding. It can have long term consequences, as blood vessels actually break, that is what creates the effect. Some responses here go along the lines of "I don't bruise any more" - that is usually because those blood vessels are permanently damaged. I know it takes all sorts, but you should at least make sure the person you're beating is aware of this.

When i first found  my Sir, i bruised from a hand spanking - really well!!!!

Now, a hard caning with his thick cane leaves no long lasting marks.

Thats just the way it is - we have played so much that the superficial veins are kaput, no more, deceased - and thus, no bruises.
Now i get big hard patches where the lymph leakes in to the skin - my equivelent of a bruise, and sometimes the tenderness lasts a day or two - but no bruises. *sigh* its a hard life- and butt.

Some people just don't bruise.  Sometimes i bruise quite easily.  Sometimes i don't bruise until after a hot shower or bath.  Sometimes, i don't bruise outwardly even though i can feel the bruising.  And, sometimes, i just don't bruise.  Who knows why?  Perhaps this is due to changes in my chemical balance, hormones, whatever.  As these factors fluctuate, so does my ability to bruise?  While it can be disappointing for both of U/us; it's not something W/we dwell on, if you will.  At least W/we had fun attempting to make them.

About the only suggestion i can offer is, perhaps, not to dwell so much on the end result as the journey You and Your slave take to get there.  It's not much, granted.  But, i'm sure You know what they say about free advice.  ;-)

I understand underground feeder cable is very nasty and tends to dig into the flesh right before the pains begins to set in.  I've seen the after effects, nasty, yet oh sooo purty.

I used to bruise easily, now I don't -- however, I still FEEL BRUISED. I currently have a very sore ass which feels like it should be purple -- from a couple days ago. No coloring change.

Those people with subs that don't bruise-- you should check with your sub to see if this happens too, to keep it in mind -- because it hurts a lot right now to even be lightly touched there because of that. This is not a real problem as I am fairly masochistic and it's ok-- but if what he wants to give me is just a light touch, and not the pain, he needs to be aware of this, so that he is aware of what precise feelings he is causing... (my opinion basically, is that I will deal with much pain, but I want the person giving it to be aware that it is happening.)

and I can find a titanium cane where?

I do like the idea of a rubber hose, I am thinking that instead of a wooden core, maybe get a small diameter radiator type hose that is thick walled and maybe a little over a thumbs width in total diameter.

she has always been able to take what I give her. she may not have liked it all, but I have never taken her beyond her endurance, nor has she felt the need to safe out of any of the sessions I have done with her. So I am beginning to believe that bruising just isn't going to happen and I will just have to bite her ass a lot.

Daddy says that 18 gauge steel cable folded in half, bruises me nicely. It started out as a seven strand cable, but it made me cry too much and he felt bad, so he unraveled it. He has since made absolutely wicked toys out of it, I feel as though I have been fileted when he is finished and I am always surprised to find that I am not bleeding to profusely.

I would say hit harder or start from a further distance to give a little more umph to the strike.  Master T always gets my ass bursed up.

I picked up my Titanium and Stainless steel canes from craftsmen who did them in small lots and do not sell them in bulk over the net. I do not know if they have websites online where they can be purchased.
