Sounds like she has a rhino hide for an arse. Ok one thought would be to have made or make a quirt (Gorean variety) like a riding crop but as well as the platted leather cover you include a beaded cord wound about the quirt down it's length. It usually causes blood to flow at the points of contact,,, Other than that perhaps regulat sessipons at the gym to strengthen your arm.

i just thought of something that marks really really well....spline...go to Dom Depot. Its used to fix screens. Its a bitch. i dont even like to see it in a package. And if you like organic material...Jute (spelling)...create a whiskey sort of small flogger with jute...if able, tie some knots...dats "guarrrooonteeeeed to mark.

I used a warming agent. KYjelly warming liquid for instance. Spank several times add liquid, (which feels good for a sec cus its cool on them bottocks) then spank more and more. The heat from the friction will make it harder not to bruise. I had the same problem with my slave til I used it.and it caused a nasty large bruise.

I agree with greeneyedreamer, is it that important. If you're enjoying it and she is enjoying it - isn't that all that matters? Do you really have to leave a mark to prove something?

As someone else said, bruising is damaged blood vessels, so if it hurts her and she loves it, and you love hurting her - if it bruises or not - so what?

I sometimes laugh at some subbies at clubs comparing bruises - like it's a mark of achievement to have the more horrific bruising. It's sometimes like a contest.... lol

sometimes it is cool to have marks =p reminders, what have you =p
maybe he's asking because his sub wants them but can't have them
most things like that seem to fade pretty fast for me, and it would be nice if they stayed around longer
i've never been in a position to compare bruises but it probably would be kind of funny

In my younger and less sensitive and understanding days, I view this similarly to a bull having a red cape waved in front of it. I recall many a night where I was presented with a cute little submissive coming to wanting and wanting to 'play', saying; "I have NO LIMITS". Similar to that 'bull' often I'd wake up 'slaughtered' wanting to cut off my own ears to stop from hearing the 'no limits' sub whining, whimpering, and complaining that I was too intense, and I took advantage of her naiveté about how I 'play'.

Faced with your "problem" back then I would have said; "come over to my house next weekend and I'll show you how to leave some marks.

However, now I'm mellower, older, and have become more sensitive to the issues associated with my age and the experiences I've enjoyed. Therefore, in consideration to that new sensitivity; especially since I just had a wild party at my place on Saturday - we'll have to make it the following weekend.

However, if that idea isn't attractive to you - try working out with weights and/or use one of those weighted donuts like they have in baseball to 'warm up' with your toys before play. It will 'speed up your bat' and get you through the hitting zone quicker.

I'm one of those that leaving marks doesn't do a thing for. In fact, if overdone at all, it turns me off, probably some baggage from childhood.

If it really means that much to you both, you can get a decent workout punching her ass rapidly, as you would a speed bag and probably get the effect you desire. Just make sure you're aim is perfect and, as always, watch for her response.

The problem is, the butt is very fatty and can withstand a lot of force without bruising. Also, some people just don't bruise as easily. I would suggest trying something heavier than what you're already using, or just giving her butt hickeys.

I suppose I'm from Mars.. but this is a problem why? If you achieve the desired emotional and mental impact.. why do bruises, which appear much after a scene for the most part, matter?

Reading all those suggestions, I was beginning to fear for the sub.

Some things to consider is actually reading up on what a bruise actually is. (I did!)

Now, I like a bruise as much as the next Dom, but wow! That's a lot of vascular damage! lol

One suggestion I could make is..... HOT MUSTARD PACKS!

One type in particular uses black mustard. They're intended to bring warmth to the skin and help relax the muscles as a result. They cause vascular dilation down to a certain depth of the flesh. (And the black mustard pack gets HOT!) Think of it as a chemical spanking.

That'll help with bruising, I think. :)

Could always go for stripes, instead? Daddy is much more impressed with the stripes he gives me with the whip than he is the bruises. However, the bruises are fun to push on or grab, if he wants an immediate reaction.

Master Chris has tried to leave any kind of marks.
Whips, crops, canes, His hand, floggers, paddles, my hairbrush, even the little plastic rod from a mini blind........to no avail.
Alas, Master didn't realize He had the wrong end of the crop W/we did after the initial strike though. Not sure that will happen again though.

It has a core of steel cable, with braided leather covering. Most people will bruise with very light strokes. Longer lengths are made and will hit even harder but are less controllable. Keep it away from any bony areas.

Second the recommendations for a small dose of aspirin (if not medically contraindicated) for several days before and hot baths after. They are both contraindicated for those who don't want to bruise
