I was gonna guess HT = Home Theater ... but I didn't want to look like an idiot ... well, no more than usual anyway.
What about 2 channel audio (stereo for the layperson)? I don't have and am not all that interested in HT but my 2 channel system will blow your socks off. Who needs video when I can just close my eyes and the stereo soundstage creates all the pictures in my head for free!
