Now this is a weird question and I know it is, but being myself I can not resist saying something when there is something I am curious about.

I have a friction sore on the roof of my mouth from hard candies, well I was touching it an in the process touching the top of my mouth, and I notice that to touch the roof of mouth even lightly or with toung is an extreamly ticklish feeling. intensly ticklish so much so it's unpleasent kind of

Does any one else find the top of their mouth to be ticklish if touched even by ones ownself?

And if it's not just me why are roofs of mouths ticklish and why is the top of the mouth by the teeth ribbed if you will

Yes the roof of the mouth is extremely ticklish in most people. As far as ribbed...............the phrase "for his pleasure" leaps to mind.

I heard back when I was younger that everyone is ticklish on the roof of their mouth and that it is the most ticklish part of the human body.
I don't remember where I read it or why that is, but that's what I remember.

I read it to on a kissing site sias:) But it still don't say why but I guess cause of nerves?

Ok so i already knew this but then i decided to take my tongue stud and tickle the top of my mouth...LMAO....it wasn't fun..LOL!!

no nuts, sometimes ticklish stimuli isn't pleasent if it's to strong.

The only other place I can tickle myself is about hip height below my stomach. Knicker line-ish! Does that make sense? It's so sensitive the slightest touch makes me squirm, even my own. Anyone else?!

I tried it and found out that I'm not ticklish there... Guess it doesn't work for everyone.

Only works when I'm lying out flat on my back for some reason. And after some thought, there is a third place - the soles of my feet. How about them or am I abnormal there too? :)

The soles of my feet are ticklish too.

Other wise I am not tickled much by the regular goochie goochie goo gonna get you type, but take your nails drag across the inside of my side and woohoo!
