Ouch.

37 billion is a "limited" amount these days.

Last time I checked....assuming oh....3% (passbook savings)...that's a billion.

Ain't bad.

Ain't exactly 10 billion...but, it's better than a kick in the ass.

Now...assuming 9% return, (which is 7% less than I make on my real estate)....it's even worse...(bad)...

Now....assuming that Harvard doesn't do worse than I do (and by the way...I don't have PhD's running my portfolio)...I'd have to assume that Harvard is doing somewhat better than my portfolio....

Which is to say....

WTF??????

They're making 2 - 4 billion a year on their portfolio...AND getting the normal scholarly admission fees?

And they're upset that they're missing the boat?

(Am I missing something here?).
