Is there a such thing as real consenual auction block slavery. How do i get involved if there is?

Not real, not that would hold a moment in the courts and not in this country either.

If you're really interested you can be bought and sold for the rest of your life overseas though. Still wouldn't be legal but wouldn't make it any less real.

Of course, mind you, there are no safe words in the Sudan.

Of course, mind you, there are no safe words in the Sudan.

Many groups offer it for charity now and then. Although it is usually being sold for an hour or two. Few actually play as well.

"auctions" happen at clubs and organizations fairly frequently -- good fund raising, good way to try and get people mingling.

But if you are looking for a place like Antoniou's Marketplace -- not that I've heard of but then again how much would we really hear if such places existed. If they do exist they are most likely of the type afmvdp mentioned -- completely non-consensual.

Correct, but again, it is not what I believe she is refering to. You may offer a charity sum in exchange for labor, but you are not in fact purchasing that person or really even their time, it's just a mutual agreement. Even it would not hold up in any court of law though. So if someone bought your time and then asked something of you that you were unwilling to do then you could simply say no and walk off, and you may come off as a bit of an ass but there are really no ramifications.

That is not slavery, that is bartering. Also normally if someone is being sold, they are not selling themselves, they are being sold by someone else to someone else, so their concerns and "consent" is sort of a misnomer and honestly sort of absurd to be used in this context.

I'm willing to believe there ARE auctions in this country for actual people to buy...I think they are underground and nothing any of us would ever be invited to attend. And I don't think it's all necessarily non-consensual.

But there's plenty of not very yummy slave trades still out there in the world. I doubt any of the pretty slaves with their cyber registration numbers on collarme would really want that sort of life though. I know I have it lucky.

i know of one . not that i have ever been on it of course. but as a kitten i do get curious and check new things out.

its slavefarm with the .com. not only is it an auction site but a want ad and personal ad site. its interesting

other than auctions at clubs im sure there are illegal slave trade in the Us and other countries, but they would be hard to find

True but people call it being sold never the less. Not knowing exactly what her context was...you answer in the frame in which you are understanding the question.

By the way there are sex slaves in the US. You hear about it quite often anymore. As close as Oceanside is to me it was going on, right on the beach in front of anyone that walked by. They just broke up a slavery ring...with I "believe" as many as a hundred people.
60 minutes, 20/20 they've all done slavery shows in the US lately.

while I have never attended one, I have heard reliable rumours of them- usually as a 'invite only' sort of thing to pass on a slave for one reason or another.

Yes they exist on a wide range of scales. There are Gorean communities that hold auctions (one I found out about a few years ago is in a small community in NC). There are also various BDSM sects that are non gorean that have auctions amoung their members. All of these would be by invitation only for legal reasons.

A safer way would be to contact a local club that is planning a slave auction night. This would allow you a 'set' time period to feel like you are owned property; however, there would be safety procautions in place.

Another possibility would be to find a dominant interested in poly relationships who is involved with a poly group and discuss it with him/her. They may be willing to do something rather similar where you are not necessarily auctioned off but traded for services.

Again, the point being that you can be traded but there is no legal binding.

Also I am quite aware of self-proclaimed and actual slaves traded within the borders, but the primary difference being that here the law is far more observant and protective of these people rather than taking a blind eye with the right ammount of $motivation$.

You can be traded to your hearts content, even within a Gor community, but at the deep of it you are there by choice not by force. One call to a local law official and the illusion goes up in smoke as the arrests begin and your so-called slavery dissolves. I should know there was a recent event that happened not far from here just last year in a lifestyle park.

So thus back to my point, that yes you can have a pretend enslavement, many elements of which may feel and be very real but in the end, at the furthest reaches of your mind, to many they know there is an escape, an ultimate release if they so desired. It is that awareness that keeps from absolution, as you still hold within you the key to your control and have not relinquished it totally.

Perhaps this is a matter of semantics to some, but to others they can see quite clearly the significant difference of such.
