This is brilliant. Also, has anyone on here heard about the movement in California to implement proposition banning divorce?

http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/27650743/  olberman comment.  tho not a law on banning divorce.  i like the idea but i would not want to punish everyone just because some are for prop 8.  that makes us just as hateful.

I love that  song!

Banning divorce isn't to punish all straight people, it's to call people out for being hypocrites. If they're genuinely interested in protecting the sanctity of marriage, they should be alright with banning divorce, but there's no chance at all of it passing.

hehe banning divorce would be funny, what with the fact it would cause an increase in abusive marriages, more rage and depression, yeah you are right tell them hypocrites

again, no chance at all of it passing. There's a better chance of Arnold Schwarzenegger having a period. And the whole point is that it would make people depressed, and it would force them to rethink their position. If they're going to take the right of marriage away from some people, why not take away divorce from others? Pro-prop 8 people are fans of the slippery slope argument, countering with one is the best course of action.

If you're going to ban marriage, the next thing you know they'll want to ban divorce, then polyester, then maybe shrimp, where will it end?

Wasn't there someone that proposed that marriage licences should only be valid for 7 years?

What proposition do I have to vote for to ban polyester?????
Think of all those polys that died so some guy stuck in the 70's can just wear ugly clothing.
There should be a constitutional amendment against it!
