I had to start a post to discuss typos and editing. I seem to be an obsessive editor. I constantly edit my post, they are rampant with missing words or sentence structure flubs and/or a misspelling here or there It's getting worse and worse! Help, I need some kind of typos anonymous group. It's driving me crazy! Are any of you going through the same torture?

Hell I could spell check and it would matter. My brain sends wrong signals to my fingers. To which I have a disclaimer on my sig line. And frankly the spelling and grammer nazi's bring their own grief by reading it when it could be easily passed. I mostly feel secure in my fellow typoese folks unless its one of my insert totally wrong word that has nothing to do with anything my brain transmitted Typoese people UNITE

The fact that you lose the ability to edit a post here after less than an hour doesn't help. I literally cringe when I see a post of mine with a typo and cme won't let me edit it. They ought to add a feature so you could only change 5 characters max in an edit, that way you couldn't change your whole post, but you could correct the typos. Probably not feasible, but what the hell.

Haha I came back to all these funny responses ... and see, persephonee, you wouldn't believe how many times I read the original post to be sure there were no typos and look at the result. [:(] ;)
