He said it and seems to mean it.. President-elect Barack Obama, who said lobbyists would not run his White House, signaled Tuesday that lobbyists could serve in his transition so long as their activities do not involve areas of policy they have tried to influence in the past year. Further, Podesta, head of his transition team, announced that any lobbyists in the team are prohibited from lobbying for any related issue for a year from now.

well he cant limit free speech. they will sue, the courts will agree, and the lobbiests will be living there, im sure there is a spare bedroom.
