Status: offline 		Yes, as an example,none of mine get any corn products.

I buy all Sojos brand products and mix the food with my own fresh veggies and meat. When I have a dog with digestive issues I mix in some of my homemade yogurt. I am very picky about what I feed my pets and always want a list of ingredients. I also want to know that it is food grade products, not the by products of human food production.

Plus, the link just has a photo and a few words. Not much else.

Status: offline 		Okay, you had me at "free sample" but when I clicked on the link, I don't see any place where I can communicate who I am and where to send my dog's free treats to try. 

My dog currently eats cheap dog food, and veggies or a peanut butter sandwich for treats.  Now, before I get flamed for feeding my lab cheap dog food, it was recommended by the vet because when she was eating the pricey brands, her hair would fall out.  She needs the higher fat content in the cheap food.  So, shortly after the switch, her fur grew back, and now all she needs is a rub of olive oil by her tail when it's hot out.

Status: offline 		My dogs love these...they are supposed to be training treats. 

Oven temp 325
2 tablespoons dry yeast
1/4 warm water
2 1/2 cups flour
1 C nonfat dry milk
1 package unflavored gelatin
1/4 C vegetable oil
1 egg
8 ounces cooked beef liver, finely chopped

Dissolve the yeast in the warm water...let it sit 15 minutes to proof the yeast

Mix everything together...use your hands to mix it...it's stiff

Drop the dough by half teaspoons onto greased cookie sheets.
Back 20-25 minutes until the bottoms are golden brown.

Put it in an airtight container and keep in the refrigerator.  If you leave them out and don't use them quick enough they are all natural and will mold.

Our dogs love these treats.  I make these and dog bones for them.

I have had dogs who thought the best natural treats were the ones found in the litter box.

My dog recently got into some trash that she shouldn't have, and we spent the weekend dodging projectile diarrhea.  I actually had to call out of work one day to tend to her because she got dehydrated and her face and belly were all sunk in.....Anyway, I finally made up a mixture of brown rice, ground turkey, and scrambled egg for her, very plain and bland to settle her intestines down, but she gobbled that stuff up and started drinking water again.  She's been turning her nose up at her Beneful since then, so I've decided to start making more little doggy casseroles for her.

On that note....every month in the Rachael Ray Everyday magazine, she prints a recipe for a dog dinner or treat that is really healthy and yummy sounding, made out of good and natural foods.

compare the fat and protein content of your food and the 6 star foods listed in the following link

If you are feeding the one star foods  or cheap grocery store brands this  can give you an eye opener at just what  you are feeding your dogs

I like the 6 stars foods the best for many reasons  but number one is the "meat" protein/fat content all human grade ingredients
the five star foods are good to me  ,  the ingredients are generally human grade  meat content tends to be suitable

but 3 and four star ..the meat content drops  and for senior dogs insufficient

2 stars  --   is what I consider bottom line  and would suggest as  alternate for better cost and quality  costco's kirkland signature foods  which is a 3 star food

1 star foods the grocery/department stores brands  in my opinion should be pulled off the shelves as unfit for pet consumption

Status: offline 		I use Halo brand's Spot Stew. A little pricier than the junky stuff but I get coupons online all the time, and I'd rather spend money on his food than on his vet bills :)

Status: offline 		I couldn't get the site to open for me either but  I have bought these "Grandpaws Peanut Butter Dog Cookies. They are organic and our baby loves them!

You can get them in most higher end grocery stores or at the web site www.delcacorp.com
The ingredients are listed.

Status: offline 		Alot of dogs and cats can't have flour, we make our own treats with Rice flour (basically rice put through a food processor) and mix it with baby food (beef, chicken) and some broth and then bake

There are tons of recipes that do not use flour or corn on the internet,

They last about 2-3 weeks and cost about $1.50 per batch
