I mean besides the obvious, I went to a therapist who specialized in issues adults who have suffered from childhood abuse have, and I feel that I've pretty much healed the emotional part of the sexual mental and pychical abuse I suffered as a child, but The sexual blocks are still there.

A few people sugested that I go to a sex specialist therapist, and I've thought about it a time or two but I have no clue what's the diffrence and what they could do diffrently a pychological therapist would do.

Only our idea as we don't know in a real life way but maybe delve deeper into just one side of things that being the sexual side of your feelings and your life just concentrating on that alone and getting you to talk and to understand it as well as break it down.

On the other side of our thinking and maybe get a smile their couches could be bigger and more comfy and the hangings on the wall could be those that you see in shops that you would never take the dirt magnets into.

A lot of my sexual disfunctions are very hands on for lack of better word, like no lidido, performance anxieties, I don't know if just talking about them alone would help. But I can't really say since I'm not informed hehe

We can only wish you our Aussie luck in finding out what the real difference is and that all goes well for you Feline and glad you also saw the funny part as well in our last post.
Have a lovely Season there and may the New Year be the one that helps you through those anxieties.

Ok I looked up sex therapy and here's what it said.

How Does Sex Therapy Differ From Other Therapies?

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Sex therapy employs many of the same basic principles as the other therapeutic modalities, but is unique in that it is an approach developed specifically for the treatment of sexual problems. That is, sex therapy is a specialized form of treatment used with one aspect of the wide range of human problems. Herein lies its value and also its limitation! Sex therapy techniques, when applied by an unskilled counselor or therapist, might focus too readily on mechanical sexual behavior, to the exclusion of the total individual and the total relationship.

There was a time that such therapists were the rage -- back in the '70's -- but things have changed. Now it's not so much a couples therapy; and the touch of a therapist on a client is generally prohibitted, so i dunno how such a therapist would operate legally. i would discuss this with your therapist; if what is happening is a fear of intimacy, etc., she can probably help you. If you need help learning how your body responds, then maybe you do need someone else, but ask her for a referral. Seems all the good MDs know one another, and this one has helped you with some deep issues successfully.

Candy thanks for the sugestion, The therapist I was seeing left to get liscenced since she was an intern and the new one tried to convince me bdsm was just a way to be sexually abused, an it's not. I don't have a therapist any more.

My issues are no libido, inability to orgasim, or taking forever, ect ect. I read somewhere that the therapy you do can consist of assignments to take home, and of course it's never sexual contact between the T and you of course:)
