I hear your frustration, but is it really worth getting wound up about?

This is a BDSM site on t'internet, after all, where all kinds of life lurks and potters.  What I find amazing is not the amount of odd/lazy/misinformed/confustered folks that abound here, rather the amount of sane and lovely people who do too.

Seven years ago when I first started becoming interested in a formal D/s relationship, I was not the proud, brilliant, goddamned amazing, all-knowing Domme I am today (wink, wink), but an odd, misinformed, occasionally lazy and confustered individual who said and did all manner of silly things thinking they sounded very Dommely.  We all start somewhere, and take it from there. Thank God, I had the wisdom to refrain from posting on these boards until I wised up a little. :-)

1. Get active in your loca community
2. Start off by being friends with people and not focusing on getting your kinks met on the spot and just find others who have things in common with you
3. Be an individual of integrity (do what you say you're gonna do and be honest about your motivations)

There's a ton of other advice I could give but for male s-types I'm simply gonna mention that SlaveKal is writing a book on how to be "The Male Submissive" Dommes want. He give great advice and knows what he's talking about and doing. (Not to say that I don't but for some reason male s-types tend to think less of what I may have to say....not all just most seem that way.) And Slave Kal knows how to talk your "language"...try his advice...try the little bit of advice I gave you...see what happens.

Great advice! Seriously and that advice work for any relationship and not just the BDSM community
(And I really hope you did not take my other post too seriously. It was meant as a joke)

I have found that politely asking usually works for me.
