I live in London, where about 25% of the population of the UK lives. We don't just know each other, we even have intimate relationships with each other. Indeed, that is why we have the rush hour. Every morning and every evening during the week people rush to public transport just so they can be close to other people. We know that the tubes are frequent, but we just can't wait to get into the train where we can get right close to everyone, perhaps feel a few bodies up on the way, or perhaps a quick snog on the way to the office. This is why we try and get anything up to a thousand people into every carriage. Why do you think so many people who don't live in London travel to London for work? For no other reason than the intimacy. And they don't even wait until they reach London either. Lots of them pack themselves onto trains just so that they can be close and intimate with each other, then when they reach London as quick as they can they dash off to the nearest Underground station for more intimacy and closeness on the Tube, hoping to get another quick snog in before they arrive for work all aroused, excited and feeling very much alive. Why do you think lots of secretaries have babies and have to go off on maternity leave? Have you any idea of just how many Londoners were conceived on the Piccadilly Line alone?
