There are a number of good books available. One of the best for training is Miss Abernathy's Concise Slave Training Manual; another is Training by Miss Abernathy.

Both are from Greenery Press www.greenerypress.com

Status: offline 		This may not be the answer you are looking for but if you don't listen you will likely go through many unhappy subs before you learn the hard way:

It is important to get your self trained first, then training your sub will come more natural. The Kink is easy, it is understanding your heart and the heart as well as the desires of your sub that is most important. When you have a true D/s connection with your sub as a result of the proper control of your being your sub will respond to high levels that dreams are made of, rather than just dropping orders on her.

Sounds remedial or even cliché I know, but the truth is this lifestyle is NOT a "do this", "do that" then you "have it" program. It is extremely mental and psychological which requires intense training of the Dom/Master. Anything less and you will be just another "passer-by" and another "newbie-casualty".


It is a long process and a big responsibility that many people new in the lifestyle overlook because of the lust for the new kink.

Status: offline 		My question is: Are you a Master training a Slave or a Dom training a Sub? If you plan to be a Master then you do indeed need to get a lot of training yourself before you even attempt to train a Slave. If you are only a Dom (like I am) then you could train and grow together as long as you take it slow and do your research. Read, ask questions, learn whatever you can and ALWAYS play safe.

Trusting what you find on the net alone is a surefire path to failure and disapointment on your end and on your potential submissives.

Status: offline 		i think the intital things a Master needs is the ability to know himself really well and to have enough self-control in his everyday life. Anyone can pick up a flogger or order someone around but to truely Master someone is a different thing altogether.
i know for me, if this wasnt happening it would kill the Dominant/submissive dynamic for me immediately. I'm not saying a Master has to have a perfect personality, everyone has their flaws and weaknesses but that true inner strength that comes from knowing yourself really creates a powerful Master that has the rl skills to deal with a submissive or slave.
So i guess what im suggesting is to go outside general bdsm information as well to learn what it truely is to be able to lead and control in a safe, sane consensual way and it comes from work on self.
