This weekend we are going to play with that paint on latex stuff. I've never played or used it before so I am in need of any tips on using it. I did a very small test patch on my inner wrist but other than that I am clueless about the stuff! (holy cow it sure does smell nasty lol)

Thanks!

Hint one if you do not like the feel of hairs being ripped out  shave a day before .Yes it does smell , if you wish the smell to go away faster use a hair drier , it speeds things up too .Use a decent size test patch  and leave it on for a lil while too  just to make sure no allergies. For the actual application from jar to skin i use  gloves and hands for the first few layers , if you have more than one  color  use it after you have a base coat , then you can brush on  some  fun stuff .Thick  coats come off much better than  one thin one .
Well ventilated area too . Most of all have  fun with it .

Also, along with what was said, make sure you keep wherever you are playing cool, there is NOTHING worse than sweating under paint on latex. Id suggest testing patches in all the places you will be painting, to make sure none of your skin is more sensitive to it than others. I found out the hard way I cannot wear anywhere on my breasts and nipples while I am fine everywhere else. I itched something fierce.

Thanks to both of you, the a/c will definitely be on and I will ask that he avoid any 'hairy' areas! Ooooooooooooh I'm excited heh. I've longed for the paint on latex play for a very long time. The test area I did was um, about 2" diameter on the inside of my wrist.

Yay yay yay thank you both!

OH Camille have fun, I love liquid latex:) I usually shave the area cos its worse than duct tape, but have also used a very very thin layer of baby oil, so thin it hardly shows shiny.
One time we had a poor girl get her  boobs latexed, when it came time to take it off, it took off a layer of skin in the crease under her bewbage and she was quite sore. she had a slight allergic reaction to it but no rawness.
The smell is ammonia and does evaporate, but an allergy isnt nice,  tender places, like inside of thighs, underarms, even armpits are a good idea to check for sensitivity.
I like to paint it on then restrain them and peel it off slowly
purrrrrs
have fun
Lucy

Do foam paint brushes work well? I bought a clearance plastic shower curtain to protect the table that he said I'm going to be tied to while he plays with me. OMG I'm wiggly with excitement hehehe. Ohboy ohboy!

Liquid latex as a company provides the foam brushes with  each pot of liquid (well my suppliers do anyway, lol) latex, so yes they are perfect. you can also use rollers, the lil foam edgy rollers (2-3 inches wide).
The cheapy shower curtains or plastic tablecloths at the dollar store are perfect for latex play and wax tooo:) I have a huge supply of them, just use and toss.
I feel your glee:)

Yes the foam brushes will work,  your going to loose some product to the brush gods but no biggie as long as you have enough to play with .Like i said before get the basecoat first  at least two layers ,dry it , and its more fun with gloved hands for all involved .Then if you wish to have designs and decorative brush on stuff  break out the brushes and  have fun .

Good lord I have some awesome images running through my head. Like being tied down spread-eagle and blindfolded. Not knowing if he is painting latex on my pink bits (which he would never do) or pretending with a neutral massage oil.

Dang.

A goofy fantasy long held:
Being grabbed by my hair and fully dipped into a giant vat of latex then pulled out and hung to dry. The sensation of the drying latex pulling tight around my entire body.

Gulp.

Fingerpainting with latex is fin as well, though far from all-covering. Fox and I have played with actual fingerpaints that way (the new picture is on our profile) but latex works just as well. We were just doing it for photos and didnt want anything that would be sticking around. The otehr thing you might want for latex paints is a handkerchief or some other wiping agent you dont mind throwing away. I have ruined washclothes cleaning hands in between colors, so you might want to grab a few washcloths at the dollar store as well, so you wont miss them if someone needs to clean up a hand.

Apparently not!
It isn't exactly feasible.. but not all fantasies are (unfortunately).

When I was about 8 I saw a movie (around 1973) where a girl was being painted all over her body then paraded in front of others. No clue what the movie was but dang that image stayed with me for life. There is something about the combination of color and the sensation of tightness that makes my stomach flutter but weirdly I don't like things like catsuits. Go figure.

I used liquid latex a few years ago and was told to use Lubiderm Hand Cream on the skin. What ever the chemical makeup, it makes it so the latex does not stick on the skin. It worked fine for us.
