That song SUCKED! Lights weren't too bad but I probably wouldn't feel that way if I lived anywhere near them.

The news story on this was very interesting. The guy broadcasts that music on short range FM so people can listen on their car radios. The neighbors all love it (except the traffic jams) and support his choice on putting up the display. He runs it from 6 to 10 PM only and says the electric bills aren't that bad since the lights aren't on all the time. Everything is run from his computer which he uses to sync the lights to the music. Each song has to be programmed and nothing is automatic.

Seems to me like this will be all the rage next year and this guy is sitting on a gold mine if he can make it easier and market it correctly.

on the bright side, the music isnt playing constantly outside the house
