Christmas Eve: Neighbours in for mulled wine and snacks while we put together the Santa pressies for little one
Christmas Day: Santa pressies, Church, I cook a big dinner (8 courses) (lurve cooking!!) and we enjoy a day of fine food and relaxation, neighbours pop in and out to see what "Santa" brought
St Stephens Day (Boxing Day): Invite around extended family, friends and neighbours. Have a good knees up and finish off the food from xmas day. That night we have a friendly poker game.

This year might be different because due to current climate my brother is emigrating to Aus and it will probably be a while before we see him again - so maybe we will go to my folks

One of the things I did with my teenagers was give them each slips of paper. On the paper they were to write down what they would give each person if time and money were no issues. They had to do one for each of their siblings and the parents.

It worked out pretty well until I read mine....all my teens gave me unlimited psychiatric visits.   damn smart alecks [8D]

Oh, that's funny! Sounds like something my kids would do! [:D]

My son always says he went to college so he could afford the best nursing home for me [&:]
