Talk to her and ask her if she is interested in pursuing this pathway. Do NOT spring it on her as you may crack the foundation of trust in your relationship. You have to make sure that she is actually submissive and is willing to walk down this path with you. If she is not willing to do this then you cannot force her to.

I really think you could benefit from reading some good books and attending some munches to learn from other Dominants and submissives who have been into the lifestyle for sometime.

What concerns me is where you state that a "a woman begins to manipulate me" and "completely intolerant of any display of bad manners in a relationship". I wonder where this is coming from and I also wonder if it is a self fulfilling prophecy. If your looking for the "perfect" female companion, she does not exist. You can come close but everyone has some flaws and sometimes they will do things that you do not like. If your expecting perfection and believe that a D/s relationship will get that for you, I think your going to be disappointed. We are human we ALL have flaws.

No great sense of expectancy here Lashra, and I'm well aware of the need to rise above things we sometimes have no control over in a relationship..  The manipulation I referred to comes from having been in a relationship with a partner with an eye problem, well..just one eye really, it kept winking and blinking at other men. I'd say being lied to with regard to a spouses indiscretion qualifies as manipulation.  So far as my reference to "bad manners goes.."  Yes, I don't think there is any need for two people in a relationship to treat one another disrespectfully, with vulgarity or threatening ultimatums... It's not at all necessary and so far as I'm concerned, people are capable of restraint and self control.
