i think feynman covered this subject area throughout his career, even after he'd gotten his phd. he'd likely then be the definitive expert "in the field," yes?

Feynman is a hack. I've yet to publish, but am building an impressive database. In fact, I spent part of this evening on the phone, trying to schedule some additional fieldwork.
