I am an ex Michigander and I remember when they opened Manitou island so that any deer licenses was good for buck or doe and you could take multiple deer. I see they are still giving 2 for 1 on the permits there.

I love natural foods and venison is one of my favorite meats. Here in Florida the deer are smaller than my old dog (Great Dane). They are about the size of a German Shepard. I haven’t hunted in FL but I have done a lot of fishing.

does this mean that when i winter camp, it's a bad thing? you'd be surprised at how warm and toasty you can be in a snow fort or a winter tent dug down into the snow. (it's really fun...trust me!)
