Hello there,
I am a relatively new convert to the world of BDSM/etc. I've been learning about the subject for a few years now, but only in the past three months or so have I been actively becoming involved with that part of my sexuality. (I should, by the way, explain that my interest in this lifestyle is very much a sexual orientation issue and not just an occassional kink or fetish. This seems to be the general consensus, but I felt the need to reiterate that.) I am very interested in learning and growing as a Dom. Especially since it seems as if it is much more difficult for someone to learn about being/becoming a Dom than it is to learn how to be/become a sub. I plan on trying to become very active on this board and, when I have the free time available, the local Chicagoland scene. I also plan on looking through the personals and trying to find someone that I could connect with (and eventually progress into a relationship with).
I thank you all for the sense of community and acceptance that I've already sensed from reading through these boards.
