i'm not going into details again however I wanted to give {{{HUGS}}} and lots of "thank you's" to a great bunch of ladies (and you know who you are) for the wonderful advice and prayers. i was able to talk to her - she sounds great though we both were trying not to cry on the phone. she even misses the way the i cook chicken breasts - nothing beats Mom's cooking. i'm going to call her tomorrow and visit her over the weekend. once again - you guys are great ...wonderful ...more than words can describe ....gawd - i need more tissue ...again.... thanks {{{HUGS}}}

Ben and Jerry's is great or Godiva's. For a non-sweet treat, Lumus has started me on these things called corn twists, OMG they are so addicting. If you need me to send you some, say the word! {{{hugs}}} I know we don't know each other that well but my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family, sambasmanlilgirl. I read most of your posts and always enjoy them. I struggle with a younger son who has autism among a few other issues so can relate to other single parents working with troubled children of their own. Cry, laugh, be still if it helps. Do what is right for you. Music is my savior, has been since I was a little girl. I have on occasion thought that Barry Manilow and the Bee Gees saved my soul and my sanity. Ok, so I was about 6 or 7 at the time but to this day, their music means a lot to me. Now I have quite a bit more range! Hugs to you, sweet lady! Rain°

cried a lot yesterday ...even when i heard her favorite rock song - nothing like crying on a crowded bus but it felt good. i started journaling this experience ...plus the hospital gave me crayons and coloring sheets - that helps too. my active hunny bunny is amazing. she knows but keeps things going as if nothing has happened.

That's wonderful. Just remember that she didn't choose to be like this, it's an illness in the brain. With a good doctor, she'll be mending in no time. I'm fourth generation mood disorder, I've had suicidal ideation and attempts at various points during my life. There is help out there.

thanks, Celeste. she's talking, mending and healing with a good support staff at the hospital ...we have our first family session on Tuesday (yep, i'm brining LOTS of tissues). and i cannot forget my active hunny bunny either. she's really amazing ...adjusting and keeping things "normal" at home while her sis is away.
