depending on the temperment of the kittens ... what about Katt and Kattapult you could also have Hyphen and M-hyphen (making reference to 'dash' forms in punchuation and types of running) and finally for my suggestions ... what about Lex and Diction if they have strong vocabularies.

I had a found cat whose name I just couldn't figure out. I'd look at her & call her different names & none of them were right. One day, I was sitting on the couch & she was sitting down the hall & I kept looking at her & finally I said tentatively, "Lucy?" She turned to me & answered. Apparently that was her preferred name. The kittens I have now are Thelonius (Monk) & Miles (Davis), but I look at Thelonius & keep thinking Lothario, so that's probably closer to his real name. Miles answers to his name, but Thelonius doesn't. BTW, their mother's name is Billie (Holiday).

Right now they are just the kittehs. I tend to agree that most animals end up naming themselves. I think the name combos that have been suggested are all really cute and some where pretty funny but I doubt I will name them as a pair. Thats like naming your twin children with similar names because they're twins and it sounds cute. I think its kind of mean. Takes away from their individuality. Though, I think my fav suggestion so far was Tristan and Isolde. Just so pretty sounding. If I do name them as pair, it will be something like that. They won't be cute little kittehs forever. Someday they will be grown up dignified cats so giving them cutsie names probably is not the greatest idea.

you mentioned naming twins similar because they were twins . and that triggered a memory of one of my dad's bosses way back during the oil boom .....his kids were NOT twins mind you but the girl was named Petty and the boy Cash ...you know that took some guts and serious prayers that the second child would be a boy ... though I guess he would have named another girl Cash .... who knows

Well, I'm with the camp that says they will tell you what their names are....but dayum! They are ADORABLE!!!!!! My oldest cat KB asnswered to "pssssst" for a good 6 months.....finally it hit me what his name was....KB stands for Kitty Brat.....and boy is he EVER!

Somewhere in all of my cats and dogs names are basketball players or coaches....but, that is the Hoosier in me coming out.... so perhaps Kobe and Shaq?....but, I am not good at such things, I have a dog who's registered name is The Earl of Kennesaw, Jalen Rose...of course living in Georgia He is Earl....it's a law in the South you have to have at least one Earl or Bubba per household!...
