Hello,
I did a search and could only find a few cursory mentions of the Kindle here so I wanted to start this thread. I have been fascinated by the idea of it since I saw it advertised on amazon.com. I love reading actual, hold-em-in-my hands books so much but this thing is amazing. I have entertained the idea off and on of maybe thinking about getting one[:D]
Bottom line is, yesterday Master had the day off and was shopping around on the site and saw where I had it on my wish list. He asked me last night if I really, really did want one because with Christmas coming up and there being a 3-4 week wait to receive one, if so He needed to know soon. I really mulled it over as to whether or not I would truly use it and carefully considered it due to the cost and I just kept telling Him it's up to Him (well, isn't everything around here?[;)]).
Bottom line is He ordered me one[image]http://www.collarchat.com/upfiles/smiley/banana.gif[/image]. I'm really excited and can't wait to get started. I was wondering if anyone here actually owns one and what the pros and cons of it have been. I don't mean the whole philosophical argument of paper books -vs- onscreen ones. I'm talking actual nuts and bolts type operation. What do you love about it? What isn't so great? I'd love any feedback. Thanks!
