No i do not like to be face slapped. Master Chris has never even attempted to. For which i am very glad. I did meet ..... oh about a year or so back with a Dom that did enjoy slapping the face, He really enjoyed slapping the face, He did it once or twice and if anything it turned me way off.

I have lenses implanted in both eyes, the last thing he would do is something that carries the risk of blindness for me. It seems really simple, but between the ear drums and the eyes, there's a huge risk of danger in this. Especially with a smaller sub and a dom with bigger hands.

When my Warden slaps me its fine and I like it. When we werent together and i saw another, the other sent me in a panic with the way he went about it and I had an emotional flashback that had never occured before. I think it has to do with the knowlege of the Dominant with me, their skill and how much I trust them.

I didn't face-slap at all with my first two submissives. Then I met a submissive in Denver at U.G. (before it went under and became the Harbour/Enclave) who told me she was interested in it. We experimented, me going slowly at first because of "newness" to it, and I found that I really do enjoy it. I am careful not to strike too hard and about where I strike...firm fingers delivered mainly to the cheek area rather than a full hand to the jaw seems as effective...and will not do it with someone with TMJ problems but it really is a lot of fun. I have never had to do it in a way to bring about a submissive's focus yet but given the fact that I have incorporated some physical measures into my thoughts on correction, I could see where I might.

However, i attended a face slapping demo put on by NELA and there are safe ways to do it....if the slapee has no health issues that preclude it...and some of those would be any issues with the person's eyes or ears... Accidents do happen...and this thread will go the way they all have...and i am in no way at all diminishing the seriousness of safety...but as with almost every single SM related activity, there are safety concerns. And any prior health issues would have to be taken into account. And, its not a full on, shoulder to elbow to wrist to hand kind of slap that would be more associated with a fight or uncontrolled situation. The sub has to know its coming...has to....in order to not move out of the way instinctively and thus putting self at risk...just as in a flogging or whipping, unexpected movement is to be avoided. The person doing the slapping has to know for a fact that the sub can take that emotionally as well as physically....its the same with any other thing. Relatively speaking, its safer than a lot of things and more dangerous or risky than others...but it definitely has its purpose and it really does serve to bring me right into my partner...instantly. Very intimate and it also brings up all sorts of fun feelings... In general i wouldnt do this sort of thing with someone i didnt know very very well for exactly those safety reasons...but in my current situations, i can tell when a slap is coming, if it is, and i can prepare myself for it. general disclaimer...this is just me...my opinion...my experience with things.

I like doing it, but would respect if it was someone's hard limit or limit it big time to particularly heinous offenses for a soft limit.

Hmmm a tuffy.. It isn't something that gets me more excited..though I think thats the ultimate goal when Master does it. Try as I might to shift the thoughts and feelings towards the positive with it..I end up falling rather quickly into a tear-filled state that I've done something terribly wrong, and seek in ernest a way of redemption from him. Never has Master done this for punishment or while he's upset or disappointed with me. It's always been while our moods were fun and playful so to speak. Why the exagerated negativity of it comes out from me is not known, and a work in progress. starshine

it's not just about the sting, it's that it's startling. it commands her attention. she is focused on what I am doing to her and nothing else. I often speak to her softly just afterwards then I kiss the stinging area.

I use it when I have to, especially when training in the beginning, but I am very careful how I do it as not to injure. Also, because of some physical problems that have been listed here, its definitely part of the interview I conduct when we first meet. I have had slaves before that slapping would not have been a healthy choice. Trust me I can find alternatives...lol depends on my mood whether it's a turn on or not at the time....lol
