I just joined here today so I'm still uncertain of the protocol. Hope a Mistress doesn't mind me chiming in. I found the OP's first post hot, hot, hot! I've always loved having my dominant pull my hair. Big turn on for me as well. Problem was I had a previous dominant who yanked my (very long) hair from the ends rather than the roots or nape of the neck, and that man nearly yanked me bald one time. Suffice it to say that I advised my current dominant that I DO love hair pulling, but don't appreciate it when some yanks from the ends instead of the roots or nape of my neck. I nearly had to buy a wig when the previous dominant yanked me out of bed by grabbing my hair at the ends and dragging me around the house one morning. For two days after that incident, every time I brushed my hair, handfuls of loose hair filled up my hairbrush and was even falling onto the floor. When I took a shower and washed my hair, the yanked out loose hair clogged my drain in the shower. All is good, though. That's just made me remember something. When my hair's pulled, it doesn't hurt. I did self-defence classes at college - I was taught what to do with someone pulling my hair. "Why would I care?", I thought. It was only then that I found out that hair being pulled is meant to hurt. Maybe a lack of sensitivity in my head generally. No surprise to many regulars on this forum, I expect . . . . . Is anyone else like this? I've genuinely wondered if there's something weird about the nerves in my scalp, at times . . .

I have waist length hair, and when a previous dominant grabbed my hair from the waist length level and dragged me around, I spent two days brushing out the handfuls of hair that he yanked out but left hanging behind. I've learned that when my current dominant pulls hair, he does it at the roots, and yes, it brings on a pain response, but that pain sends me into sub space. The difference is I don't feel like I need to buy a freaking wig to cover up the bald spots like the previous male dom left on my head. [:D]

Then see how 'fun' it is to have some ignorant person pull it from the ends rather than the roots. Hope that never happens to you. Because there is a distinct difference in having your hair pulled just long enough to go into sub space and having some ignorant person pull it out by the roots. Luckily, I'm done with that one 'dominant'. And my current dominant knows how hair pulling really should be done. Like I said earlier, I no longer have to brush handfuls of hair out with my hairbrush and watch my shower drain be clogged with my own hair after someone who didn't know what they were doing yanked my waist length hair from the ends rather than the nape or scalp. Best wishes! Hair pulling is always FUN when the person doing it knows how to do it while causing some pain, but without ripping your hair out by the roots!
