This may perhaps be my last thread that I post to Collarme. I have a serious issue with getting a little too caught up in things at times. I need to address this issue of mine. I'm not talking about the kind of getting caught up that everybody does once in awhile. This is somewhat difficult for me express, and I'm not certain what to fully make of it either. I do know that certain types of stress or whatever seems to triggers it. I do know this, that when I'm caught up in things I seem to loose focus of the bigger picture at time. I was going to write about the pro's and con's of using such a site as this. I do know this that within the course of 1/2 a day, I started a thread because I was so caught up in things that I could not leave well enough alone. In fact my own actions have only made matters worse. I'm thinking back to something said to me awhile ago. They suspected that perhaps I have ADHD, the hyperfocus variety. I am sitting here haunted by those words. "getting caught up" these words resonate with it now. For somebody close to me has mentioned this to me a couple of times now. Sitting here thinking about how, my use of this website varies. There are times when I get too caught up in it. Seems to come and go, change like the weather patterns. I'm not certain, I do know I have issue and I need to somehow address it or work upon it, it's very important that I do.

If you suspect you have ADHD, I'd suggest you consult with a medical professional. There are meds to help with that; it is a medical condition. You can't wish it away or dominate yourself out of it.

If you suspect you have ADHD then you need to get medical help as i'm sure you know. I wish you the best with that. Other than that i'm not sure what the point of your thread is! If you feel you need to leave for a while then leave. You could have mailed your friends and told them not brought it to a thread with no real point other than i susect looking for sympathy and pleas for you not to leave.

Well Whip... I have always admirred your ability to share some of your stuff here.... If you go you go...best of luck it the latter... Throw the Add double d hhd stuff out the window...nothing wrong with you...you have a few issues to work out and thru...so do I..so what....if most were honest here you may be surprised at what you would hear... Don`t buy into THAT...lie in your mind... Your a smart man, Whip...use it.

seems a shame Whiplash ... that you seem to be asking for help and understanding and there's persephonee ... trying so hard to reach out to you [>:] could you not send her a message and give heran email addy or something?? good luck with what ever you decide to do ..... go / stay But know this ... Many, MANY threads have 'no real point'. I happen to enjoy reading Whip's comments and though I have never spoken to him before I am glad he posted this so that if/when he goes poof I know the reason why. You obviously dont give two shits, and thats your business, but I do happen to care.

The majority of the time the person leaves for a week or two tops and then resurfaces and they were just all about sympathy and such. As it happens you are right in saying i couldnt give two shits whether he leaves or not and if you do thats all good. Threads like these just scream attention seeking drama to me.

I don't understand leaving cm because of ADHD. Its a medical condition, easily controlled by medication, and no reflection on anyones value as a person - or a dominant or submissive. The angst in the OP's post seems to equate ADHD with something that can be overcome by sheer willpower - and having two um's with ADD , i see every day that will power has little to do with living with this entity.

I like Whiplash's posts. But he has "left" collarme at least twice before. [8\|] I am surprised no one stated this. He leaves and then he comes back. He is certainly not the first or the only person that feels they must announce when they are leaving.
