Todays word of the Day is TODAY! reason? you may ask? Because the future isnt here yet and it will get here when it does and the past is dead and gone so why worry about it you can't change it. TODAY is the here and now. Work on what is happening Now and not what may happen or has happened.

"Challenge is the law of life. And those who look only to the past or the present are certain to miss the future." John F. Kennedy, 1963 (from a profound, dollar store, refrigerator magnet )

"The past cannot be change, but the future is whatever you want it to be." Author unknown. (Makes a good plaque, and a decent philosophy to live by.)

My word of the day is a bad word, so I'm focusing on the wonderful gifts in my life and on the meaning/reasons for celebrating Christmas. M

My word of the day is CLUSTERFUCK.

Is it worse than yours, M? If not, I resolve to look for newer, worse words!

No, that sounds exactly right! I'm not a fan of clusters, unless it is I who some day comes up with the idea and have my sub's agreement and support; sort of like dominance with a conscience?... I may as well adopt clusterfuck along with you, since it seems apropos... M

True word of the day story.

A co-worker plays "word of the day" with one of the bosses; he's always giving her words to look up and use in sentences, etc. A couple weeks ago I started feeding her words to use, thus gaining her trust ;-) I should mention she's a bit of a prude, and not the sharpest crayon in the box.

Anyway, the other week, I gave her a new word, and told her it meant that she was very good with vocabulary and language. She was very pleased with this word, and promptly went up to the boss she plays this game with and announces:

"Hey, did you know... I'm a cunnilinguist!"

She went on to explain what I told her it meant. Boss looked at her, confused, then started laughing and responded "Um...that's not what that means"

I dont think I've laughed that hard in a long time.

Apparently My word of the day is FUCK!!!

I have stubbed the pinkie toe on My right foot three times today and that is the word that I vented forth on all three occasions. My poor doggie is still not sure if she is in trouble for something.......
