Status: offline 		Does any one know of any legitimate and legal ones. I looked up napster, and if you wanna continue listening to music you got from their site even after dl you have to continue paying napster or any files you download won't work I assume to make downloading legal you'd have to pay, I used to pay 1.99 for my selections from music match from eartlink, But they don't have the song I want. And how would you avoid paying to download only to find out the song you want they don't have or the download won't work?

Are there any that have trial periods? I only want the one song maybe two.

I use Ares myself. Free so far. Have gotten songs and movie clips through them. Used to use WinMX but they're gone now.

Status: offline 		I think unless you pay for downloads it's illegal to download for free. A lot of people were tasken to court and sued for downloading and shareing music they got from freeplaces like winmix. Don't quite me though cause I only know half the story about it

I heard something about that myself. I have plenty of music and I rip my cds onto my computer when I buy them. Haven't used the p2p in a while myself just thought of it when I read your post. lol think back in summer was last time I used it.

Status: offline 		I just borrow CDs from the library and rip them to my computer. I figure they can't trace it that way and I still get the music I want.
It doesn't work with new CDs, but I don't like all the new music anyway.

Status: offline 		Ok I did sign up for I music but something went wrong dureing instalation an the program froze so I uninstalled it and re installed it but the mp3 rocket program won't launch at all I am currently waiting for their contact to get back to me it's been over8 hours since I contacted but hopefully very soon I will hear from them

Status: offline 		hope that one works out for you. if not, i've tried rhapsody/real.com and it seems to work well. if you only want one song, you can always do itunes at $.99 for each song. you can use it with a windows pc.

Status: offline 		Thank you girl I music is 18 for a whole year there's no song to song charge which is great cause I have like 4 whole cd's with about 10 songs each on it, which started out as only 1 song lol but when I heard a bunch of his cd's I was hooked.
