You guys have been giving some excellent advice to those recently asking for profile critique - so, I thought I would see what advice you might extend to our profile.

One person we were in conversation with thought it was slightly intimidating, others have thought it honest - yet after nearly a year, our search still continues.

Thanks in advance.

Well, things take time, and you are looking for something a bit unusual, so, it may take time to find the right person/people to fit into your household.

I don't find anything intimidating or hard to understand about your profile. Seems v upfront and honest to me.

All good things take time, just don't be in a hurry, take your time and get to know people as they introduce themselves to you. You wouldn't want to rush into anything anyway, knowing that these are important and often long-term decisions.

Good luck!

Hmm, I looked at it, and while it is very nicely written, it really says nothing about what you are truly looking for? Maybe I missed something.

Frankly, I don't put a lot of stock in profiles. My Dom has a profile on here and he went in my reject pile when I read it. Thank (insert deity of choice here) I ended up sitting next to him at a local Munch. If I hadn't done that, we might not be together today.

I spent TONS of time on my profile, said what I was looking for and what I was not looking for. It was well written, articulate, to the point and funny. I did not include a lot of vague poetic references nor did I use pink letters. I rarely got any e-mail and those that I got were not even in the right zip code for what I was looking for.

I never expected to find someone here on Collar Me. If it wasnt' for the message boards, I would have left a long time ago.

Lily

I think the profile is well written but perhaps you could add, as someone has already pointed out, a little more of who/what you are seeking. I must confess that I find your name a bit confusing in light of your profile. Teach you to be good doesn't really come across as who you are from what you have written. Then again, how much do these names and profiles really mean?

Best of luck
