http://blogs.usatoday.com/ondeadline/2007/12/lakota-withdraw.html   last year the lakota indian tribe with drew from the US, any  treaties, now it has formed a bank-   ...we let indians run casinos, so why not banks?

http://press.freelakotabank.com/   this is their new bank.

hmm over 7% interest.  maybe its a scam.   yet  the fed shut down 2 similar schemes.

gold and silver is up today so far,  by $25 and $0.93

do you think the fed will let this happen?   if not how will they stop it?

Interesting, but not likely to go anywhere. The PTB obviously cannot allow this to happen. How will they stop it? They probably have already. I noticed that the first comment post was back in February, so the article is obviously dated.

I haven't heard anything about this, so the PTB may have already taken care of this.

BTW... your 2nd link is not working.

The Free Lakota Bank site is still up and appears to be accepting and servicing customers.

As for the legality of this, I do not see how it would be an illegal enterprise. The Lakota is a sovereign nation and as such has the capability of creating its own currency on whatever standard it desires as well as running its own banking system.

Perhaps an independent review of its services is in order to make a fair judgement as to whether this bank can live up to its mission.
