mistoferin -> Could the G-spot increase pain tolerance? (11/25/2008 4:05:23 AM)

This article was pointed out on another forum that I participate one. I find this fascinating and it may actually explain a lot for me. I thought I would repost it here to get your thoughts.

quote:

A further expert who was first responsible for publicising the G-spot has recently discovered another use. In research she has shown that stimulation of the G-spot area can increase pain threshold by up to 47%. If the stimulation is arousing, the pain threshold increases by up to 84% and a massive 107% on orgasm. Her hypothesis is that this sensitive and erogenous area is one of natures natural painkillers for childbirth.

i agree! i am actually a huge wuss and hate pain! but when my clit is stimulated i find myself being able to do things and want and sometimes beg for pain. i actually started this all on my own when i masterbated.

If you dont have a Master i do have a trick to test the theory... tee hee but i dont know if i should really post it.. people are different and might not want to try it others might try it and really like it other might hate it.

However short answer and a recap, yep i agree and i'm a believer! =D

But your clit is not your G spot. They are specifically talking about the G spot.

oh well in that case, i strike my answer :)

MissEnchanted -> RE: Could the G-spot increase pain tolerance? (11/25/2008 4:49:29 AM)

mistoferin,

Thanks for posting that article! The G spot is one of my favorite subjects and that is a great point the writer made about pain tolerance, etc.

That other paragraph about reducing pain during childbirth was also very interesting. Too bad I didn't know that years ago. *snicker*
All those great endorphins, dopamines etc that are released with those super delicious GSpot orgasms would probably help reduce the experience of pain during watermelon delivery. [:D]

Thanks to your new thread I will be putting the GSpot pain theory to the test with one of my favorite subs.

hi mistoferin

I find this interesting and it makes a huge amount of sense because the G-spot is full of nerve endings

. Goes and finds a g-spot dildo to insert before my next beating!

hopelesslyInvo -> RE: Could the G-spot increase pain tolerance? (11/25/2008 6:03:41 AM)

it's long been my understanding that any arousal or sexual activity/stimulation quells physical and in most cases psychological pain, as well as clouding rational thinking and inhibitions due to the release of serotonin to the body.

the g-spot doesn't seem like it has reason to be singled out as causing this effect as though other stimulus does not, but i'm sure it's agreeable that the more heightened someones arousal becomes the more potent the effect becomes, and since the g-spot is supposed to be sort of a trump card in that respect...

it makes me think of other things though, like how the lust and arousal of a vampires victim was what was supposed to keep the bite from hurting and instead make it feel just as an "overwhelming sensation"; so considering how long that mythology, let alone other "real" practices have existed, i'd assume this understanding of arousal granting pain tolerance has been at least in some degree "common knowledge" for quite some time.

i've also heard the phrase "sex is the natural pain killer" for ages.

The last time there was a g spot thread it ran a heated 8 pages.  With all sorts of twisted logic to defend the g spot when the medical community says there is no such thing.  Do the search read the discussion.

Well, I guess I'm just going to have to try to convince that part of my body that it just doesn't exist. Go figure.

If you read the article she quoted you'd see that there is an area that is incredibly stimulating (whether you call it G-spot or not) and produces fantastic orgasms.
I know my body and I know the difference between the clit, G-spot, and vaginal orgasms.
You can feel that spot, it feels different and the orgasms are extended for hours. I feel sorry for anyone that does not use this valuable information because it produces hours of sensuous and intense pleasure for a woman.

Saying the area doesn't exist is simply ignoring all the delicious potential to please yourself and your partner.

Who cares what we call it exactly, it works!

Without getting into the *there is no such thing as a Gspot* further up the thread.......there's most certainly a place inside my vagina that produces pleasurable sensations. It is one of the sensations that makes fisting a pleasure/pain thing , for me.

Endorphins increase pain tolerance.  I deliberately use sexual stimulation, G spot and otherwise, to raise pain tolerance levels.

scarlethiney -> RE: Could the G-spot increase pain tolerance? (11/25/2008 8:23:08 AM)

For me being aroused period makes it much easier to enjoy and accept pain. I don't have to have my g-spot manipulated exclusively to be able to endure more pain.
I think Master has conditioned me to associate arousal with pain and so I think my preference for pain is directly related to how aroused I am.

Well there is that.  I believe that you think you have one.  It is just that the entire medical community doesn't believe it.  Everbody is different to a certain extent but most of us have wrist bone that's connected to the finger bone,   It's not like every girl can point to the same spot and say here it is.  Like you can with other body parts.

If the medical community doesn't believe that the G-spot exists, I wonder why it is that board certified surgeons right here in this country are now offering G-spot enhancement procedures?

Actually, many respected physicians acknowledge the existence of the G-spot; more importantly, many women on the forums refute your claim.

As President of the SB fanclub(and so far the only member[;)]) i feel i need to interject here that SB is famous...infamous...famous...for his strong belief that there is no such thing as a g-spot and if we all keep challenging that, he is going to continue to tell the girls on the board that that spongy, ridged area to be found inside and just up from our vaginal opening...the one that produces mindblowing orgasms and usually squirting....doesnt exist...even tho, we have all checked now and have all found it.

His disbelief aside, i think that any intense sexual experience will increase endorphin levels and make taking a whippin wayyy easier...and thus increase pain tolerance. i know that i have been known to beg for more from the singletail when in the midst of an orgasm...g-spot or no....and i think that most who combine sex and pain would find their experiences to be similar.

orgasmic and not apologetic
