So, I have plans tomorrow with my boyfriend to go to Sacramento.  I've been looking forward to it all week, and it should be really fun.

Thing is, it's also a business trip.

We had planned to leave by 9am (and I was really excited about that, since I had a not so great thanksgiving and I am looking forward to spending time with him) but now, I guess, we aren't leaving until possibly as late as noon.

It's irritating because I had a set plan in my head and now it's been changed because of a customer not calling him back.  I don't see why he can't just go take care of the other customers earlier... to have more time to spend in Sacramento later, together.

And he hadn't let me know about plans for Saturday, either, but I had believed that there would be plans (because we most always have plans on Saturday... for a whole year we've spent all but maybe 3 Saturdays together) and now he's saying that because we're going to Sacramento tomorrow, we probably won't have plans on Saturday...

I'd rather omit myself from the half day business trip, and stay home to eat left overs with my parents, than sacrifice my whole day Saturday... watching movies all day, cuddled up in bed is WAAAY more fun than sitting at B&N BOOKS by myself while he goes to appointments.

I've said I would go, so I guess I'm obligated now...

*is frustrated*

mostly the problem is that i'm having to trade one day for the other... and i don't like that.

why can't we just spend both days together, if special circumstances make things convenient for us to go somewhere on Friday?

how come i have to *trade in* my Saturday for Friday?

Feel better now?  Do you understand how incredibly bratty your post sounded?  Do you know how many subs would love to spend almost every Saturday with their partner and be more than happy to trade a day rather than go without?  I'll assume that your whole post was tongue in cheek and that you really did spend Thanksgiving being thankful for what you have.

Hint:  Most men can't stand to be smothered.  Be a woman who doesn't whine and smother a man and you'll be surprised at the rewards you will reap.

I hope you feel better now having gotten that all out.   Hopefully you won't choose to display this attitude to him.  Petulant possessiveness is not very becoming.

if a girl can't be a possessive petulant brat from time to time, what is life for?

I manage to avoid it and my life is rather full.  I find that I'm happier if  I don't give into self pity.

I would not want to be with a dominant who put up with that sort of crap.
