Well my mom wanted the shawl so she won't be returning it, since she picked it out and I payed for it. The microwave is for me, so I won't be returning it either, And it wasn't marked up so it can be marked down, that's how much this machine costs, it costs 119 at all stores. I looked at sears and target and fry's and kmart and all those stores, they were the same price at all stores I saw.
Daddy actually saw it at walmart and wanted it and I said no cause no way was we paying 119 for a microwave when we could get one that was just as good, but not fancy. So when I saw the price at Kohl's I jumped on it.

And it will, the markup on such frivolous items is so high that they can have a half price sale and make more money because of it.

Also think of this, the retailer collected a certain amount from you, if the recipients decide to return the gifts to the store they will not get as much as you paid, they will only get the current price.
