RS, you have stumbled upon a cult British TV show that did in fact have a rude episode that got banned. The characters were done up in fet gear and the language in the script was definitely adult. It is currently extremely hard to find because of a copyright dispute. Reference can be found to it, but no clips so far. *The regular show would often slip adult jokes in, but the banned episode is the one to find, a collectors item.*

Thanks MadAxeman. I did some research and the link in the OP is the banned “Twangers” episode. It never aired and net rumors say it was a staff joke. A copy must have been released to the net earlier this year because there are several recent copies of it on various forums. -Excerpts- In 1979, the cast and crew of Rainbow made a special exclusive sketch for the Thames TV staff Christmas tape, sometimes referred to as the "Twangers" episode. This show featured plenty of deliberate innuendos. Gigglesugar.com said, “The writers of children's programming place a high priority on making their shows entertaining for adults and children alike — but this is something else. Rainbow, a '70s UK kiddie show, upped the ante on adult entertainment value. The following clip from the "Twangers" episode was a staff joke that was jam packed with innuendo. Rocko was the most disterbing show like ever. lol I used to watch that and Ahhhh Real Monsters. I LOVED them! Wish they were still on.... :(
