Did you get your coupon for 5 dollars off any purchase of 25 or more off of Walgreens.com?

What charity are you going to donate to?

Being that she's in California, that's doubtful.

I think what she's doing is awesome, and telling us about it gives those of us who didn't realize how much we could do with so little, is a generous service. I don't understand the critical nature of your post to her as a result.

Wrong location, wrong date, wrong store.

Good game.

I'd like to add ' uncalled for and rather nasty to boot'.

Nice going YHMA, its a wonderful feeling gathering up presents for kids that need them!

Can you imagine it.  I'm going to go Christmas shopping then you lose your loved one forever.  For what?
Would you even open up any gifts they had previously purchased or would the death ruin everything for a person?

I don't get what gets into people at these times of the year.  The pushing and shoving..the rudeness of it all.  And for what exactly?

Not including the families losing their loved ones to prison for the rest of their lives...all because of greed.

Good for you in getting those things for charity. Too bad some other sour grapes on here can't be charitable when it comes to
helping others, praising others or even reading the thread correctly.

No cupons needed, you just walk in and pick out the buy two get one free items.

But if there was a cupon no I didn't get it:(

Thank you Winterlight. I really shouldn't be spending the money since I am drowning in debt, but well I wanted to do something for kids who'd other wise get diddly squat this year.

By the way as an aside, the stores I went to were NOT busy for black friday, oddly enough. And the deals at Walgreens weren't for black friday they're always having deals to bring in customers.

I love your thoughtfulness & generosity, YHMA.  I will get some names off the giving tree in the mall I work in.  That's what I have done in the past instead of buying my family & friends gifts.  They all have way too much stuff as it is.  Tuesday at work, I volunteered to help them get 30 eye exams & free glasses to children & other needy folks.  It was a wonderful day!!  It just wouldn't be Christmas for me if I didn't buy things for others who have less.  One year, I cooked 5 turkeys for a local shelter & then my daughter & I went & helped serve dinner.  There are so many ways that we can all do something for others.

I'm a CVS girl myself, but one year I bought a TON of stuff for a family we adopted at work and spent little, I think I may even have gotten money back in the process.

If you have the time and energy to work the deals it is amazing what you can get!
