Status: offline 		Tonight, once again, I've received a message from someone wanting to play with an older domme.  The profile is brand spanking new and it's accompanied by pictures of a very pretty young girl who goes into great detail (or someone does anyway) about what she wants to have done to her.  (I'm bisexual.)  I am sooooo tired of this.  Of course she's online RIGHT NOW and ready to talk!  Yea, right.  I've found that usually if I just wait a day or two (maximum), the profile quickly disappears.  Do men really think someone my age with my level of experience with people is simply going to start chatting with them and give them some wank material?  Sheeesh!  Ok, sorry.  Just had to get that off my chest.  Feel free to share your own experiences.

I suppose some people really are that bored and desperate for attention.

Status: offline 		Its not just limited to here, you can find it in every online rpg going. Its tiresome actually and its always the same individuals but with different accounts. They just want to get their rocks off.

Status: offline 		I think we should put all our dominant powers together and come up with a troll spray.  Yes, one of those things that we can infomercial and sell at a bargin and if they call within twenty minutes we can give them two for the price of one.  Oh yes, because you know they are going to need two!

Only true trolls would be exterminated, turned to dust and blown away in the wind.  Yes, I know that isn't quite what they had in mind, but we don't care.

I am asking this in all sincerity.

How does a male sub, not come off as a troll?

I realize that there is usually 100 male subs to every
Domme. So how do I convey I am serious about
matching with someone. But yet not be 1 of 100 or
viewed as a troll?

Any suggestions or 411 would be a delight.

Also, I am new to this site, but not the BDSM world.
Are there really Domme interested in finding new subs/slaves?

Status: offline 		There may be more submissive's than dominant's but that doesn't mean that they are submissive's that we would wish to be with and if there are good one's that fit us, you know they are like a million miles away.  So don't feel discouraged! lol

If you write someone just like you did in that post you will do well.  If you are true to yourself and come across as being yourself and you treat her like a human being rather than a mistress service, you will do well.  Good luck to you...

Also, discretion is crucial for me
because of my soon to be profession.
So I am not sure how to handle pictures.
Also, if I send pictures to a particular person, does that
mean all can see them?

Status: offline 		Okay one more response and then we must stop. lol  You can email whoever it is you wish to, but I would suggest reading the complete profile before doing so and making sure you understand what the dominant might want.  We are all different.  Any picture you send cannot be seen by anyone but the one you send it to, but you are online and I don't mean to make you more afraid, but anything online has the potentual to be broadcast.  It is doubtful it would happen, but I guess it could.

You use words that are not typically something one would know if they were very new to message boards, so I am sure you can figure it all out. lol

Status: offline 		Don't believe the hype about 100subs to every domina.   If you've studied gentleman 101, and looked up the meaning of submission, you should have no difficulty approaching a lady.
As someone said, forget she is a dominant, just court the lady, and the rest will fall in place nicely if she's into you and vice versa.    M

Status: offline 		I get a couple of those per week, usually on a Friday or Saturday night, Ms S.  Pretty young 'dominants', living in the US telling me to 'add' them because they're 'online now'.  They always have one-line or non-existent profiles and large numbers of 'friends'.  They never show up as having viewed my profile.  I'm wondering now if these 'dominants' aren't also the 'subs' who've been writing to you.  Seems quite likely.

Status: offline 		I love the block and delete feature. A troll will be a troll. It seems to come with most on line sites. Sometimes I do chuckle when I read the crap they write. The "I read your profile" line is priceless. When they haven't even bothered to look at my profile. I just wonder how I made it on the mass e-mail list they must keep.

Status: offline 		I have wished that somehow I could send a jolt of electricity back through their keyboard - evil grin.  I get emails from both tops and bottoms that seem to miss the first line of my profile - that I am very happy in my relationship and am only looking for friends. 

When I first joined the boards I wrote to a lot of people.  There will always be newcomers, some will be awkward, but some are for real.  While it can be annoying to get propositions from people just put it off to then wanting instant gratification and know that you won't be played that way.

In this forum, at least once a week there is a thread about either: how to get a dominant's attention, how to get a woman's attention, how is my profile, writing an introduction letter to a dominant woman ... and so on.  There are also likely several other threads that will help you on this -- so take a look back in the archives here and use the search function and I'm sure you'll find a lot of great and diverse information.
