That kind of special's like the joke in engineering classes...there's an equation on the page and then the author goes "After some trivial math" and spits out the solution. The "trivial math" is, oh, a page long! If you get a running start at uncertainty theory (it's covered in conceptual modern physics classes) it's easier to handle. It's simular to math/physics textbooks - I'd get one for a class, look at the stuff in the back and go "hell no, I'll never understand that!" But learning all the stuff leading up to it made it easy at the end. thornhappy
