There are a couple of towns in the foothills near me that always have evening, outdoor Christmas festivities - bonfires are going, craft and food booths are open, choirs sing, and lots and lots of people bundle up and mill about. I love it. If I can be up and around by then, I would definitely like to go. This year may be iffy, though. My department at work is doing a toy wrapping event with the Salvation Army, but I might end up missing that, too, which is a bummer. But we have big barrels in all the major hallways where people can donate unwrapped, new toys for youngsters. Very cool.
