MissAidan -> Good websites for a newbie? (12/3/2008 4:37:43 PM)

So, my other half unearthed a fellow lifestyler in one of his classes the other day (ever notice how we seem to randomly gravitate towards those of similar minds, even when we don't know this life exists?).  She's been frustrated with her 'nilla relationships, and as he began talking about the things we do, and things he has done in the past, she opened up and he gave her a first glimps at a world where lovers rarely run screaming at the thought of whips and handcuffs, lol.  He told her that we would be happy to help guide her into the local community, as well as give her a list of good sites to check out.  I know which ones I would give to a newbie, but I know there are sites I don't know about.  So, please, if you have any good sites to reccomend for someone who knows what they like but that's about it, please post and let me know about it! Thanks in advance!

I started at bondage.com. I find they are less M/s oriented, more D/s which makes sense for a newbie. And suggest a checklist of BDSM activities so she can figure out what makes her say ick and what gets a Ooh Yes.

Beyond that I would give her a list of books to read. S & M 101, Erotic Bondage, Screw the Roses, New Topping Book, New Bottoming book.

I guess Thanksgiving cooking really did fry my brain, lol.  I didn't even think about books.  Thanks for mentioning it!
