    It depends on my mood , and the time available .  When I do get in a "snoopy" mood , I'll look at all sorts of profiles - often  the result of looking through the photos section , which can cause me to want to know more .
     Occasionally , I send compliments , or comments .
 
    But mostly - I get swamped .  Like every other female here !

yes, We do look. I don't see the point in sitting still waiting for an opportunity to drop in My lap. So, I do browse the profiles on this site and others, I am also getting back into the local bdsm community in My area.

In some ways, I am currently looking now although I am in no particular hurry.. My greatest interest is in meeting friends and like minded individuals.

On CM, I occasionally look at profiles of people who post something that piques my interest. However, my CM account isn't functioning in some crucial way, and consequently I am unable to send or receive private messages; and I don't think my profile is searchable, either. I can't seem to find 5 minutes to correct this situation, and so I've concluded that it's not actually important to me. I enjoy CM, but it is not a crucial resource for me the way it is for some of the denizens. I'm a casual user.

The three-dimensional world is where I prefer to start and maintain relationships. In the past when I've looked for a sub, I've looked quite actively and very successfully in the local population.

So to answer your question: Yes and no.

Short answer: Yes, I have looked. No, I have not gotten a lot of satisfaction thereby.

Longer answer: I don't live in a major metro area, I'm not a young or skinny or busty gal, I'm actively poly, I'm independent and like it that way, I'm a practicing witch, and I'm not a sadist—merely dominant. Tends to limit the compatible prospects.

As someone else already answered, I generally don't look, but if I saw one I found cute/interesting, I would contact first, or at least say something to them indicating I dig them.   I'm not looking at present, so not even clicking cute profiles anymore.   Mostly, I look at profiles of posters, to sort of get a better idea of who the poster is.   M

I met my guy due to him messaging me, but I had previously had his profile pop up on "feature of the day," and so I remembered, "Oh,  yes, that was the one that really looked good in a lot of respects. AND he's respectful..." And it was the start of a beautiful friendship. (grin)

Nah, not really.
I'm doing videos, so I'm kind of "casting." But they aren't being taken home: they're for shoots.

I have looked through profiles and if something catches my interest I'll message them. But like others I have found that when Talking to someone they seem to only want sex and I'm not willing to give it up in the first meeting. So for now I'm not looking, but waiting to see what happens.

Yep!  I am not looking for a relationship, but I still read profiles and review photos, positive and negative--positive when I see someone who might make a good  model or a potential friend, negative when I follow up on an ugly post to the forum, and try to see where the person who wrote it might be coming from.

When I was looking for a partner, I reviewed profiles more actively, and I was the one who made first contact in my present relationship.  Generally speaking, I find that you can't get anything out of a site like this that you aren't willing to put into it.

Sure, but most of the extreme whackos I've met in my life have been people who contacted me first.  I've fared much better when I've made the first move.
