Not sure this is the correct place to post this...

i begged my Master for a permanent mark recently and He has decided on a brand. He wants to find someone with experience to do the job.

We are in Northeast Pennsylvania. Time and place can be worked out, though it would be lovely if it could be done in July at the Woodsstocks event. If interested, Master requires photos of previous work/

Thanks so much!!

Not sure if you've seen or heard of this place located in Philly, Infinite Body, but here is their website... http://www.infinitebody.com/  Don't think they'll travel to you, but no harm in asking!  i hope this info helps.

you are sooooo going to love being branded!  The day i was branded, Master did it Himself...8 separate strikes upon my thigh.  Such a wonderful experience!  (am working on earning another one..)

Dude, if you are going to get a brand or a tattoo... it's WORTH TRAVELING FOR! This is not a bag of sugar to be picked up at the store, it's a permenant mark on your body.  I'd have absolutely no qualms about a plane trip to go get a tattoo/brand from an artist I really liked.

i did finally find a place that brands, not in Philly, but outside DC. After discussing the design with the artist, we found that it would need to be 2 inches high or would turn into an unrecognizable mess. The decision Master made was that He was not going to disfigure me that way, it would detract rather than add. He has decided a tattoo will be done instead.

The reason i wanted a branidng was so that i could feel the scars, even though i couldn't see the brand. But as i will soon have a Collar, i can look at that instead, i guess. *grin* i still want His mark on me.

Thanks for the info, though.

I had the good fortune to attend a branding demonstration not long ago. What I learned surprised me. I had no idea, for example, that the incredible thin edge of a strike brand--will later extend on all sides as the skin heals.  The burn area and resulting scar is much larger than the strike edge. This affects the design.
Before you decide on "who", you should both try to learn as much as you can about the entire process so that you understand what this brand will look like six months from now. Simple geometric designs work best in strike branding.  The pain is not so much in the branding either, it's in the healing process.
After I saw the demo, I decided that if I want a slave branded I will get one done by an expert in medical cautery with the expensive equipment needed because the brand can be more detailed, or decorative than strike brands.

Deep Six Laboratory and Tattoo Shop is great! Paul Acker is a fantastic artist, not sure if the offer branding or not yet but is the best Philly tat shop.
Infinite Body Piercing is wonderful and is located in Philly too and offers fantastic branding and cutting and is one of the best branding studios in the country.
Have fun!

Thanks for the info... the design is a kanjii that represents 'jii' which said aloud says the name He gave me. He wanted it to be coin-sized and that cannot be done even with a cautery pen without the edges growing into each other, evidently. So He has decided on a tattoo. It won't be my first, and the other two were no problem at all, so i don't have an issue with it. It's all about having His mark on my body, one that won't fade away in days like the others.

peace,

g

I have a tat...and someday...if I find the right One..that is permanent...I might have His name added to it.  But, I almost did that for my last Dom...and if I had I would have a permanent reminder of that liar!  Permanent anythings scare me somewhat...but best of luck to you!

Thanks for the advice. i don't like the idea of putting another's name on me... that is why the kanjii is my name... and it is not in English so i don't have a 'name' on me either. The kanjii is simple and elegant.

Should He and i part ways one day, i will have His mark on me as a reminder of happy times and the positive changes He has brought to my life. And i think, even if it should happen, part of me will always be g.
