Okay, i think i read this wrong lol i thought you meant like report it to the police. So if i read it right lol see below: You can make any type of police report as long as what you report is true and you somehow felt it should be investigated by the police. A report is not a complaint nor is it an indication that someone committed a crime. Its simply what it is an incident report where someone felt the police needed to look into. Sometimes they turn into complaints with an arrest, sometimes well many times they do not. A false police report is when someone gives false information or attempts to use the police and the criminal system to harass someone when they had no intention of ever following through -- when i worked for the State's Attorney office a long time ago, many times DV victims would be threatened with being cited for filing a false police report if they didn't testify when there was an arrest. It sounds cruel but many times DV cases were only able to be prosecuted BECUASE of the victims testimony. i think its a lil different now. I personally wouldn't see somone telling someone to go shoot themselves as a threat. What did the PD say when you filed the report and what led up to someone saying something like that to you in such a way? All in all, if you feel threatened then you did the right thing. If you simply are tryng to get back at the person who said this to you as a vendetta concept -- no to me it isn't cool. If you meant reporting it here: It depends really. But yeah the TOS should be your guide. When in doubt, report it, worse come to worse they will say -- no we don't see this as a threat just block the person. I wouldn't see that as a threat. You are an adult if you are on this site, you should not in my opinion be that susceptible to people saying such a thing to you. The block feature is great. angel
