If you're financing a NEW automobile, you're really losing money (I never buy a vehicle less than two years' old....let someone else pay for the depreciation).

When it comes to cars, cash is king!

Oh goferit!  Start a old-timers history-talking thread.  You need the moonshine and the corn-cob pipe and some hand-rolled tobaccy?

Ven, around here most of the people who drive Buicks were born in the Teddy Roosevelt or Woodrow Wilson administrations.
There were no "airports" then, they were called "fields."
Rudy Valle was in the "top 40."
Many "firetrucks" were still pulled by horses.
Hmm, might make a good historical thread.

I think bringing back the Model T would be good; make it a sort of cult thing, keep 'em cheap and there'll be one on every driveway across America

As long as I will be able to get a newer model Silverado, I don't care what the automakers decide to scrap.

Celticlord said it, cash is king when it comes to automobiles.  I refuse to get married to such a poor investment.

What the automakers need to focus on, is the technology to make the damn car run reliably, and make that affordable for the average American.  Without the 7 year loan.  That's just insane!
